By the Mid 1960s, Roy Howard, an antiques dealer and one time handyman of Cardell's, seems to have become an exponent of what were probably, originally Cardell's Witchcraft. A correspondence course was set up by Howard but he claimed that the mysterious Head of Atho and the rituals, came to him from a travelling Romany gypsy called Alicia Franch. Ultimately the 'head' was mysteriously stolen and I don't think it was ever recovered.
